Tradition's tastes and aromas with Lo Pan Ner festival

Tradition and taste are meeting in the Alpine Pearl!
In Aosta Valley, bread has been one of the most important food for centuries and cereal plantations, rye and wheat, used to characterise the alpine landscape.
The festival programmed for the first weekend of October means indeed to celebrate this old-fashioned life's symbol.

Saturday 3rd October, Cogne

The villages of Epinel and Gimillan will light the fire inside the ovens for the 5th edition of the cross-border festival Lo Pan Ner - Breads of the Alps.
Rye bread and the typical sweet mécoulin just taken out of the oven can be tasted. This will be a moment of conviviality, friendliness and joy.
