The Lillaz Paleofrana, located where Valeille meets the Cogne Valley, 10 minutes from the village of Lillaz, is the remnants of an ancient landslide of blocks of gneiss which collapsed from the Eastern slope of Punta Vigeusaz above and remain near the flat bottom of the valley. Different shapes and sizes of blocks of gneiss make up the paleofrana, making it an excellent trekking where hikers can explore the routes through caverns and the climbs up low rock faces.
